Makayla Bowman Case

My mother is the epitome of a well rounded, whole-hearted, strong, beautiful, and humble black woman. The qualities that she holds are strong enough to make you want to change the type of person you are. From her warm, welcoming, big, brown eyes, to her extraordinary home cooked meals that will be sure to leave you feeling full and satisfied, she will win your heart over in a heartbeat. She has the ability to persuade you to do the right thing without you even being the slightest bit aware. She has the swiftness of an elegant, brown Giselle, but the keen eye of an envious, black cat so you will never get away with anything around her. She has the ability to hear like a jack rabbit hunting for its prey, and the strong intuition of a woman knowing she is getting cheated on by her husband. All in all, my mother would be considered perfect, flaws and all from her head down to her feet.

My mother, Holly Bowman, stands about 5 foot 4 inches tall. She has a short haircut that fits her face perfectly. Her hair is a reddish-brownish color that mimics newly aging rust. Her hair is always flipped in what the youth of today's era would call "shark fins". The hair cut she chose is very unique as well. It is shaved extremely low in the back, yet some hair remains, and is a tad bit longer on the top so the fins are prominent. Again, not everyone can pull off this look, but she manages to do so beautifully. My mother's face has a beauty in its own. Her face is as smooth as the sand in the Sahara desert and her makeup always lies as nicely as new sheets on a freshly made bed. She has a few freckles that stick out like white crayons in the crayon box. She does embody a double chin, but it is hardly noticeable and does little to take away from her motherly beauty. Her breath and teeth are always well managed almost as if she attends the dentist office daily. My mother's body isn't swim suit model worthy, but it is acceptable being that she has birthed 2 children. Her arms aren't the smallest in the world, but they are certainly proportional to her body stature. Her legs are almost as small as toothpicks, but my dad obviously isn't complaining. Her skin can be compared to the rich, silky smooth color of milk chocolate, and her dress game is on top of most women her age. My mother possesses an overall youthful appearance that many women would kill for.

In all reality, it would be obvious for me to state that I have known my mother my whole life. From day one when I emerged from her small, yet large birth canal, she has done anything and everything to take care of me. I find it very challenging that some individuals have to grow up without a mother being that my mother has been there for me from the start.

My mother could truly be compared to a superwoman. She is always coming to the rescue when times get rough, almost as if she is catwoman herself. Being that she has a strong intuition, she can sense
