Fail Student has not demonstrated the ability to:
* review relevant research based literature
* answer the question appropriately
* analyse or synthesise the literature used
* write at an adequate academic standard and has not shown academic integrity in use of references
Pass Student demonstrates the ability to:
* review the movie providing a clear 'perception' of the main characters experience of living with a mental illness
* review relevant 'experiential' based literature, predominantly using direct rather than indirect sources
* show/prove a basic level of comprehension of subject content
* write primarily at a descriptive rather than analytical level
* use language largely appropriately, in terms of grammar and style, adhering to the formatting guidelines for assignments with adequate referencing technique
Credit Student demonstrates the ability to:
* review the movie providing a clear 'perception' of the main characters experience of living with a mental illness and providing some evidence to support these perceptions.
* undertake a satisfactory review of the literature using a broad range of 'experiential' and research based literature to support the conclusions that are drawn
* show/prove a satisfactory level of comprehension of subject content
* use language competently for the purpose of comprehension and communication, with largely accurate referencing techniques
Distinction Student demonstrates the ability to:
* review the movie providing a clear 'perception' of the main characters experience of living with a mental illness and providing substantial evidence and direct quotations to support these perceptions.
* systematically reviews and uses a range of literature which is synthesised within the assignment and critically discusses some theoretical underpinnings for the conclusions drawn
* undertake a satisfactory review of the literature using a broad range of 'experiential' and research based literature to support the conclusions that are drawn
* show/prove a high level of comprehension of subject content
* show evidence of writing at a high literary standard including near perfect structure, style and referencing techniques
