Movie Review - Kung Fu Panda 2

Kung Fu Panda 2 is a universal style movie. In that particular movie, the panda, Po as the main character which is the dragon warrior who protecting the Valley of Peace alongside his friends and fellow kung fu masters, The Furious Five. Throughout the movie, I can see the friendship between Po and his friends, The Furious Five which are Tigress, Monkey, Mantis, Viper and Crane are strong. The story begins with Master Shifu told Po that he need achieve inner peace as to complete a final Kung Fu technique. The fealty symbol of the head Wolf of the raid was bringing Po's traumatic memories to the surface of the attack on his village. Afterwards, Master Shifu had received word that Master Thundering Rhino, leader of Kung Fu Council protecting Gongmen City has been killed. Master Shifu ask Po and the Furious Five go to Gongmen City to stop the peacock, Lord Shen who want to wiped out kung fu and take over China. In the journey to Gongmen City, Po is trying to find the inner peace throughout his life. With the help of the goat who gifted knowledge of future and also advisor to the peacock, Soothsayer, Po eventually recalls back his childhood memories. Despite of the tragedy, the Soothsayer advices Po by saying "Who you choose to be" bring Po to attain inner peace. These teach us to let go the past because we are the people who are decide to be who in now and future. By achieving that kind of tranquility, Po defeats Lord Shen's fleet to everyone's astonishment by using an empty-handed martial arts technique. Po doing the thing that they feel impossible to do. In the process to destroy Lord Shen, Po and the Furious Five were shown trust and cooperation around them.

Besides, Po and the Furious Five shown work together as a team to destroy the newly developed weapon, cannon by Lord Shen in Gongmen City. In the story, Lord Shen caught the Furious Five and blasts Po out of the cannon factory with the cannon. However, Po come back to rescue the Furious Five and then battle against between Po and the Furious Five with Shen's wolves and gorillas. After Po attains inner peace, he try destroy Shen's cannon using an empty-handed martial arts technique and Shen accidentally be killed by the main cannon which falls to him.

In Kung Fu Panda 2, The Furious Five have shown the cooperation to each other especially Po. The character of Tigress in the movie is the strongest and boldest of the Furious Five. Tigress is shown less "hard-core" in the time she say "the hard-core do understand" when Po explains that he remember Shen's presence on the night he was separated from his parents. She shows her care to Po as she refuses Po to fight because she can't watch her friend be killed and give Po a hug. The story lines make me admire at the relationship between them in where Tigress show her care to Po. They are caring about each other even though they are not same from physically
