Another change we are considering is to offer paid access to smaller chunks of content. For example, a customer might buy access to the "pasta" course, which would include several lessons and recipes specific to pasta, and the price point would be lower than access to the entire cooking school.

What do you think would be an ideal way to promote your service, considering your budget constrains?

I wish we knew the answer to this - and we're hoping you'll help provide some answers! Here are a few of many ideas we have:

* Because the content is of such high quality, we think there are ways to make it easy for users to spread the word to their friends/families/colleagues

* Our main challenge right now is distribution, and we think that partnering with companies that want our great content (and that have strong distribution in place already) would be a good way to reach consumers.

* We think that a good email communications program to users who register with Rouxbe (i.e. provide us their email address) but haven't yet subscribed to the premium service could be cost-effective.

Is there a particular geographical location where you would want to focus your marketing activities within the U.S.?

We are open to whatever makes the most sense, including outside the U.S..

What would you consider is your target market? And how did you initially decided on this segment?

I think the primary target market is passionate home cooks who want to expand their skills in the kitchen, and the secondary target market is people who love to learn to cook but don't have the time to attend a traditional cooking school.

What are the key benefits you want your consumers to know about Rouxbe?

* Rouxbe Cooking School is the most effective way for home cooks to learn to cook better. Rouxbe teaches home cooks to cook the same way professional chefs learn to cook.
