A value is a subconscious feeling or intimate attitude that we have towards something precious to us. Values frequently vary from person to person, although what they share common is their belief in what is considered good, or the right thing. Very often, our values are what influence our behaviour, how we react to situations and what we say or do, therefore having values is important to us all.

Values are what distinguish our decisions, whether they are to be right or wrong. They crate the essential foundation of how we are defined in the future. Social values can determine our attitude towards the people we let into our lives and what people we chose to let in. The basis of social values is cooperation, respect, friendliness and good communication. By sustaining a consistent effort to practice these characteristics, positive and beneficial relationships may be created. It is important to harbor social values in order to avoid conflict with the wrong people and to create links with the right.
