a. The Venezuelan government was responsible for the various food shortages of the most basic goods throughout their state run grocery chains. This was a result of the governments "war on the private sector". The inefficiencies in the distribution of the food has actually caused more waste than that of the private sector. There is estimated tons of food rotting on a single port alone and many cases of stolen goods that are still trying to be investigated. These chains run by the government were meant to help the people by having price controls put on basic necessities but instead has left the country in a full out food shortage.

b. The result of the failed government involvement has actually lead to a higher price for the food than before there was government involvement. This was a reduction in the actual supply that is available to the public due to corruption and inefficiencies.

a. With the now political revolution many of the Egyptian people have found a new found pride in their country and have decided that instead to flee the country they will stay and actually help to bring it to its full potential which had revitalized the economy. Many people who wanted to leave are now starting a new life which includes the introduction of many new businesses that help the people just as much as they are stimulating the growing economy. This revolution is made possible by a group of young people who are educated and have a true interest in the good of their country.

b. I believe that the government needs to put in place a democratic political party that will promote the free market which will be the most inclined to allow these ideas to bloom into a booming economy that will make them self sufficient. This however should not be without any type of regulation due to the instability that still exists within the country and the prospect of there being possible missteps while they are still in the very beginning of their journey to building up the economy.
