Sam Walton opened the first Wal-Mart store in 1962 in Rogers, Arkansas. Wal-Mart was first started in Canada in the year 1994. It is one of the fastest growing companies in Canada. Wal-Mart Canada is part of a global team, often where it keeps in contact with other colleagues in the United States, UK, Argentina, Brazil, Japan, China, Central America, India, Mexico and Puerto Rico and continuously growing themselves globally. But the thing is Managers are creating problems to the associates. Some of the rules and regulations of the company are leading them to quit their jobs. Wal-Mart is sued on average of two to five times per day by customers, employers and other parties.
Claude is a 22 - year old fourth year engineering student living at home. He wants to avoid student loans, so applied to work at Wal-Mart as an associate processing film in the photo lab. Claude's father was celebrating a major birthday with a special dinner but he has a schedule to work on the same day. Claude has come from a close-knit family where all family milestones are celebrated together with an extended meal. To solve the Problem he got some alternatives like calling the Manager, to say that he was suffering with ill and won't be available for work or else pretending to have a cough and asking to go home early, otherwise asking help of the co-workers to cover him for 20 minutes so he can attend the birthday party
