William Wordsworth was born on April 7, 1770. The writer focused most of his works on nature. He lost his mother and father at a very young age. He had a sister which people believe that he was in love with her. In the time he went the traveled all through Switzerland on a journey in the summer. While he was there he met this woman named Annette Valon, which were the women he had an affair with. He had hid this affair and based on an poem about the affair, which was called "Vaudracour and Julia." After all that he published a lot of his poems in volumes and died on April 23, 1850. All in all most of his poems are about nature and how much he loved it and that is what I will be focusing on. I have picked two poems that made me think that he loves nature the most, which are To My Sister and Expostulation and Reply.
In the poem "To my Sister" by Wordsworth,he has written it in 1798 and published in the same time period. The poem is about nature and how and his sister liked nature very much. The first line " It is the first mild day of March," which he is saying that the weather is very nice outside. He goes on through almost half of the poem, about how a lot of the stuff outside and the things around it.
In the third stanza the lines state, Edward will come with you; and pray/ Put on with speed your woodland dress/ An ddring no book: for one day/ And we'll give to ideleness. In these lines his is saying that he is going to send Edward, which I do not know who that is. He wants him and his sister to spend the day together. He referred to a book because he does not want him to bring a book because he just wants it to be him and her no one else or any distractions.
In the next few stanazas after he talks about how love effects nature. He has a few lines that state that Our minds shall drink that every pore/ the spirit of every season" Wordsworth is saying that he wants everyone to think that with every season there is love and nature is a part of some peoples way of loving someone.
The poem Expostulation and Reply he has a conversation with a friend named Mattew. He tries to reason why Wordsworth spend his free time one the lake or some that he ask Wordsworth. He wonders why he does not use your time eading and getting smarter.
In stanzas one and two he ask the question of why Wordsworth is day dreaming. He says that books give you more insight on things and if people didn't read they would be not to educated. So you read that people wrote before they passed away.
In the Stanzas three through five, Mattew goes on to tell him that being on this plant has a purpose and he should go for it. He should also go for it. He should also go for his achievements. William comes back with saying that everything is fine. He all in all nature speaks to him.
In stanzas six and right he talks about him listening to his brain. Think you " mid
