A Hidden Face in Communication
Technology has been during these recent centuries a quite beneficial concept in today's modern world. It is to say, as a simple and double edged sword, where computers are no exceptions, although they progress our world for the better. Too much technology at the same time can be a bad thing. In which technology has caused the threat of our health, privacy, and social interaction rather than the real world.
First of all, social networks like Facebook, MySpace, and Hi-5 became remorsefully unhealthy since these grab away from people's physical wellness, anti-socialism, and can cause mental problems such as losing the ability to see the difference of the real-world and cyberspace. For instance, although social network has released new opportunities in our lives, spending too much time on cyberspace is very unhealthy since it affects with existent of our real-time social- life which diminishes from regular events. Modern society spends too much time using computer instead of enjoying the outdoors, taking the kids to the park, or even exercising. In addition it removes away from all individual contact, taking away that human-interaction we as people so desperately need. Moreover, according to "Egger and Rotenberg whom made several studies of internet addiction, where they posted a survey to evaluate our habits, feelings, and experiences of internet use" They declared that out of the 454 responsers a whopping 10 % or roughly 45 responsers recognized themselves as dependent Human beings that have lost their relations to other humans due to the overuse of the computer, so they are facing periods of tough, empty and unnecessary isolation. Can a computer have given a human a hug? Absolutely not, only receiving a text message where a reply "I love you" is boosting because a human being is in the other side of that connection. In addition, people who use excess of cyberspaces will lose logic of reality, and became irritated when you argument that there is more to life than cyberspaces based reality. Dependent of being online like in Facebook, MySpace, and twitted will destroy an individual's life, if she or he is not alert.
Moreover, internet became a world communication a small place, and it is an easy way to keep in communication in real time, although; individual privacy is constantly threatened with illegal and immoral activities. According to" Evgeny Morozov , social networking could be potentially harmful to people". As violate their privacy because insurance companies, college, and employers have checked to validate information about a person's routine activities by cyberspaces. Technology communication or social network has converted a site where people gather and stretch their corruptions.
