"Moving forward to meet customers goals" is the brand new message that Toyota has implemented for fiscal year 2012. Out of this message come some specific objectives that meet the customer service perspective that Toyota is attempting to implement into the mindset of the America and the Global economy.

The first objective is located in the press release dated 28 Sept 2011 from the PRN newswire. It states that Toyota will be building and designing cars and trucks that help out customers achieve their goals.

The way this relates to the mission vision and strategy of the Toyota motor Corporation is that it inherently attempts to fit the needs and wants of the customer predicated to fundamental human values. This fits the mission and vision and accomplishes at least part of the strategy needed to recoup the margins that were lost in the previous years with respect to sales. Pulling on human heart strings is an effort that has been made in the past by Ford and Chevy and now Toyota has to develop the same business model.

A second objective is located in the guiding principles of the Toyota Motor Corporation's Global website under the company tab. This objective/guiding principle is create and develop advanced technologies and provide outstanding products and services that fulfill the needs of customers worldwide.

This objective/ guiding principle also clearly relates to the vision, mission, and strategy of present day Toyota. It appears as if this guiding principle is one that was lost years ago and is beign focused on again for the future. As with any big company someone has to come in and redo what was done and refocus on what really matters. Without the customer there is no business to build on. Toyota has recognized this and has taken note of it accordingly.

The third objective is located in safety, technology and quality presentation located on the Toyota website also. It simply states that "our technologies will continue to advance toward the ultimate goal of making a vehicle that is safe for everybody."

This objective is in the spirit of the vision, mission, and strategy of the new Toyota "moving forward to meet customers goals." Indeed the goal of th customer is to purchase a safe reliable vehicle and in conveting this new message Toyota is on the right track to achieve the aforementioned objective.

As a company that is attempting to rebound is sales is can be also noted that a recent survey from Car and Driver came out and it did state that the Lexus brand rated number 1 in customer service in the United States.
