Expectation vs Reality

Expectation：

Before i have this class, I thought this class might focus on accounting and calculation of the numbers, so I expectation learn more knowledge and experiences. Because I do not have the working experiences. However, the financing and accounting are really useful in the real business world, so I want to improve myself to be more professional. My major is financing, I learned tons of financing concepts in my BBA study. Therefore, I expect to transfer them into my experience, and be good at using them in my future life and my MBA study.

I hope to learn more knowledge about the combination of financing and leadership, I want to use more professional and organizational knowledge to make decisions in my future business life. Although the accounting is very basically in our life, i think the data is a very important kind of basically business tool to help us to make decisions. The data likes a tool that we can use in order to make analysis and forecast for the companies' future. The number does not mean everything, we need to learn more method s of to analysis and forecast to help our own business.

Reality:

Now I had already finished two weeks classes. I think the MBA classes is totally different form the BBA classes. We have lots of staffs need to read before the class. Although we have some cases to read, I really want to hear more experiences form the professor. When they make the decision or face some trouble, what did they think and how would they solve this problem. Before the staring of this new semester, I heard some information from my friends who were the MBA student here, they said that to compare the BBA classes, we would participate more and make more contribution. In my BBA classes, the professors talked more than us, but now the professors give us more time to discuss about our own idea. Sometimes I think it is difficult to fellow everyone. Obviously, the first barrier is the language, but i will try my best to understand what the classmates' ideas and thoughts. I think the second barrier is sometime our discussion was less related to our main direction or topic, so i had no idea about some classmates' opinions. Therefore, I have a suggestion that we could make a schedule at the beginning of the class, so we could have a clearly and main director of this class. I think that is more helpful, so everyone could follow this schedule.

This is my expectation and reality during this two week classes, I will try my best to be better in the future study life.
