"Family History"

Family History can go way back, I ask myself how far my family history can go. I asked my wonderful mother what she could tell my about her family history, she replied "I can only go back to our family history. However family history is one of the best stories you could talk about to your own children's. My mother Maria Deleon told me about her family history and I would be sharing her story with mine.

First of all, my mother Maria Deleon was born in December 24, 1965, she was born in Mexico, and she was given always to a different family. However, her new family where very old at the time they gave my mother to the new family. My mother was 10 years old when her foster parents passed away. After my mother was transfer to the U.S from Mexico to one of her family member in Weslaco, Texas. Few weeks later my mother met two of her brothers and two of her sister that were also given away when they were in a young age. Throughout the entire story I think my mother has gone through a lot in her young age, not just her but also her brothers and sisters. My mother leaved with my aunt and her brother's and sister's for about 2 year here in Weslaco Texas, after they decided to go work in Michigan to earn extra income for the family. My mother was 13 years old working at 5am- 11pm at night. In the rear years working in Michigan my mother's family moved back to Texas.

Furthermore, my mother at the age of 19 in year 1984 she was married to my father Arturo Lopez, and had 3 daughters named: Jessica Lopez 5years old, Ana Maria Lopez 4 years old and Angie Lopez 3 years old, my mother was blessed with what I call my sister's. In year 1990 my parents build their own house in Alamo Texas, and in year 1992 I was born, everyone was very excited because I was the only boy in the family. Throughout the years as I was grown up to age 5. My dad became a different person; he wouldn't come home and started not care about his family. My sister Jessica was 15 years old at the time that all this was going on with my family. They made a quince for Jessica and few months later my parents got divorced and Jessica had left the house young and married and soon to have a baby. After year has gone by in year 1999 and it was only my mom and I, because my other two sister's Ana and Angie had left the house. All my sister's were all married and bless with little angles in a young age. In year 2000 my mom was married to Julio Escalante. Julio Escalante became one of the most important people in my life, because he showed me love, even though I was not his blood son but he love me like if I was one of his own son. Therefore a few months pass and I met two of Julio's kids of his own. Their names were Julio Escalante Jr. and Nestor Escalante.

Finally, I was the happiest person on earth, not just because I was happy to say that we had a happy family but
