The Simpsons are affecting children all over the United States Of America, like for instance Bart Simpsons and his odd ways. Bart Simpson describes the childish ways that many children use, do, and want to do, like for instance, in one episode, pulling the fire drill, unloading the bleachers, and this may cause much disturbance to children and make them feel like doing this is the "cool way", and that this would be fun. Children forget to do the right thing, and end up doing things like Bart Simpson, or acting like him at times, too. When the show first came out, shirt companies printed out words that Homer Simpson had said, and he soon became a role model for children- not a good idea to act like Homer Simpson. Everyone wanted to get one of the Homer Simpsons shirts, and this caused major problems as to children wanting to become Homer Simpson. They also show much media violence, such as either Marge hitting Homer with a mallet, or Homer shaking Bart up and down for money. A lot of media violence, statistical problems have been stated, and although this may also warn children about the way life really is; The Simpsons has become a major addiction to children, and although it is meant to be humorous, twists and turns childrens' minds to work the way Bart Simpson does and to act like he does. This may be entertaining in some ways, but it can also hurt childrens' imaginations, and "poison" them for watching and trying to do the wrong thing, and not acting the proper way. Bart Simpson has become a major idol for many children around the USA, and this needs to be stopped immediately as soon as possible.
