In the workplace there are many ways that databases are and can be used. When a person is the CEO or CFO or anything in a high position he or she will need to use the different ones available pertaining to the job to be done. Some databases are used for documentation which assists with writing a letter. Spreadsheets, another aspect, may give a person the tools to help with and input information to help with number data or give a layout or even chart important data in an organized and easy to understand format. These databases dramatically improve the workplace making the information easy to store and later retrieve when looking up data. In the reflection it was noted that increasing productivity in the workplace and home consists of data which could be labeled in a simple matter for anyone to access what ever information is needed to complete a task. A point of concern however, was the question of 'Why does so many changes happen a password must be entered to log-in? Or why so many password requests are even necessary?' In IT, will the laws needed to prevent or further protect this idea be passed, and what are the laws in effect today? There are so many white collar crimes that slip through the cracks and go unnoticed or even unpunished, so we ask what will it take to correct this and modernize the laws to match the technology? In Team D, we did understand what the change needs to be for the future, as the world gets smaller and inner connected. IT is consistently changing and making the world faster and more capable than ever to store a large amount information.
