There once was a boy fascinated with the collection of fake jewels. On a sunny day the little boy found a beautiful and one of a kind diamond. The boy never knew the importance of the diamond until one day someone tells him that she should take extra care of it for it was unique and the only kind on earth. The boy ran home and kept the diamond between his arms. His love to his diamond grew by the day and couldn't sleep or leave his house without it being with him. The boy neglected all the fake jewels he used to play with, he built a box to protect his new diamond in. He extremely adored the diamond that he promised himself never to tell anyone about his discovery, even the closest people to him. He neglected his friends, his family and spent the majority of his time with his one of a kind diamond. The boy got used to the diamond and the secrecy he surrounded himself with. The little boy knew his father had the same hobby of collecting diamonds although he had a precious one so he hid it from his father, he knew that his mother would fear for him and might even take the diamond away from him so he never spoke of the diamond around her. One day his mother accidently saw him play with it and when confronted he claimed the diamond to be just another piece of collection and that it meant to him as much as the other jewels, scared that she'd take it away he had to lie. Days flew by and so did weeks, months went by and followed by years until the day he never expected. One day the little boy walked on his father and found him looking at his own precious diamond with anger and fear crawled into the boy's heart. He knew it wasn't his diamond, but the look in his father's eyes towards the father's diamond was worrisome and he knew that trouble something wrong was about to happen. The boy, confused, looked at his father and with his innocent voice asked, "father, why are you made at your diamond? Why are you looking at it this way?" Complete silence spread across the room with father's piercing vision concentrated on his diamond. Trembling was the boy, he couldn't shake the possibility that his father found his own diamond and now he's angry because he wanted it in place of his precious diamond. "waste of time, waste of time" yelled the father, the boy confused kept on staring at his father, fear tied his tongue and so quiet he remained. "I spent half of my life collecting diamonds yet this one here had a special place in my heart, or so I thought, but it's all a waste, I neglected my old diamonds, I neglected the joy I see in my other diamonds" continued the father. Silence still spread across the room with the boy's heart beats racing his thoughts. With a sudden move, the father threw the diamond across the room and so it fell and broke it in half. The boy started crying quietly. He could feel those warm tears on his cheeks. He didn't know why he was crying, it wasn't his diamond, he knows his diamond is safe, but why
