Marks day

was the sound of morning in Marks world as he reached over to turn his alarm off. His eyes cracked from the light of dawn.

was the noise heard while his feet hit the cold floor. Half asleep he walks down the stairs with his housecoat clunking behind him. Slumping to the kitchen he washing his hands, pours his cereal, peels his banana to chop then put on top of his cereal.

was the sound of Mark inhaling his cereal. A sudden interruption disturbed his breakfast,

Marley, Marks dog declared that she was hungry. The sound of pouring water into Marleys bowl was like a water stream. Mark opened the food bag and shoveled out a scoop of food for Marley.

As he was rushing to the door. Its was a package. Mark knew exactly what is was! He signed the paper as soon as he could, took the package and slammed the door. Running to the living room he ripped open the package...

The sound of shear paper being cut by his hands. Its was the new Nintendo!!!! Turning it on there was a static sound blurring his hearing until it came... The Nintendo Mario Brothers theme song! He laughed and giggled like a little boy again until the phone rang.

Mark picked up the phone, answered but then had no clue who it was. It sounded pretty scary so he hung up the phone. Mark raced outside to his car, opened the door and got it. Put the keys in his ignition and flared the engine!

Was the screams of his engine racing down Main St.

His brakes started smoking. He saw the police!

was the sound of the near by police cars sirens. Mark drifted to the side of the road. He started rolling down his window while the police man walked closer.

was the noise his heart was producing. It got louder! LOuder! LOUDer! LOUDER!

Mark pounced awake to only realize it was a dream...
