Abortion is a controversial and usually touchy subject. There are quite a few different views on the subject. Most people, however, have either a clear cut for it or against it opinion. With approximately 3,700 abortions per day in the United States, It is hard to not hear about it. Though most of the people you hear from have the wrong idea in my opinion.

The major view on abortion is obviously that people want to abolish it. My view on abortion however, is that it needs to continue on. When that is stated, most people turn there noses up and automatically think of murder. Though ultimately, abolishing abortion would be responsible for more deaths.

The United States population had gained 82,000,000 people from 1982 to 2009. That is not even thirty years and we had gained over 80,000,000 lives to use up more resources and food. Also the denser a place is, the more easily and quickly diseases spread. In that case, abolishing abortion will just lead to a much greater genocide. Earth can only accommodate so many animals, humans included.

The United States is figuratively burning to the ground as it is. Our greed and gluttony will be our downfall, so why speed up the process by allowing more lives more quickly. Granted, some people still don't have the heart for abortion. Though most people contradict themselves, if an Iraqi soldier is killed defending his home then we cheer and say "well done". However, when a fetus is removed, people say "that is a shame".
