Introduction

In the world of lending there is one real estate company that stands out compared to the rest and that is Emaar Properties. It is the largest real estate company worldwide. Emaar Properties is not only listed in the Dow Jones, but it is also listed in the financial market of Dubai. Emaar is a company that creates and builds not only homes, but hotels and community centers. They are known for their exquisite design that seems to satisfy every client. Emaar also develops and builds in the areas of malls, financial centers, and health care centers. They are located in several different countries around the world including the United States, the United Kingdom, Jordan, Syria, China, and India to name a few.

Legal Environment

The company wants to grow globally and expand into different business areas. To help shape the structure of the company and improve its operations level there are many outside contributing factors. The company must look at the legal environment of the countries where they want to establish business in. The United Arab Emirates legal system is composed of a mixture of modern and classical ideas. The United Arab Emirates want to insure that traditions are maintained while also allowing new modern ideas to bring growth. The UAE government took the time to completely restructure the guidelines so that the country can have the modern services yet at a reasonable price.

Emaar has developed by providing the best services to different country's population for example: community centers, top quality homes, malls, hospitality buildings all at reasonable prices. These actions assist a long way in facilitating expansion of the country. As a consequence of mutual give and take, Emaar Properties is hence supported by the government.

Economic

Even in the middle of the economic crisis Emaar was able to obtain loans due to the government bailout to the banks. "Emaar has joined hands with the Jebel Ali free zone, which is growing at a very high rate. The partnership helps in the growth and development of the company and this in turn facilitates the economy's growth as well" (Finkler, et. al., 2007).

Social

Social environment is very important and have an impact on the organization's working. To try and keep employee happiness at a high level employee surveys have been and are continually done.

Emaar Properties has also been honored with achieving many award for their high environmental standards and also for their high level of quality work they provide on each project. Emaar conveys progressive forward work and ideas so that they stay eco-friendly such as using 'Earth Watch', which is a recycling strategy being used in their communities and
