Hello, I don’t know you, but you’re pretty, therefore, I am now in love with you and I think it would be wise for both of us to get married tomorrow even though our families hate each other… Have you ever read a book, or seen a movie that goes something like this? If not Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare would be perfect for you, because this is the type of story you will get in this play written in 1597. Is it possible that Romeo and Juliet aren’t really in love? Perhaps they were just so happy to have found another good looking person they forgot what the true meaning of love is! This is very possible thanks to their irresponsibility when; Romeo “crashes” the Capulet’s party, when Romeo and Juliet get married and don’t tell anyone about it other than the nurse and finally when Juliet fakes her own death and Romeo doesn’t find out in time, so he commits suicide.

Firstly, Romeo causes Tybalt to act/think rashly, when Romeo “crashes” the Capulets masquerade ball, even though he knows that the Capulets despise the Montagues and vice-versa. Tybalt later on challenges Romeo to a duel for doing so, since he believes that Romeo ruined the party for other guests that had been invited. Tybalt isn’t the smartest of characters and prefers doing things through strength instead of through smarts. Romeo is still heartbroken over Rosaline, even though he only liked her for her beauty…When he see’s Juliet for the first time, he says he’s in love, though he clearly has absolutely no idea what love is! Romeo asks Juliet to marry him within 24hrs of meeting each other, this is very irresponsible on both their sides, since all they know about each other is their names, and that their both good at kissing. This is very irresponsible on their part, since they barley know each other, and now in the futur if they find out something about the other that they dont like, it sucks to be them. This could also cause problems with the other relationships they have with either friends and/or family… Especially since they weren’t planning on telling anyone.

Secondly when Juliet says yes to marrying Romeo within 24 hours of meeting him, causes many problems and makes many people think rashly and irresponsibly… Such is the case for Tybalt and Mercutio. Romeo is still supposed to fight Tybalt to the death, but since they are technically family now, he can’t. This causes Tybalt to act rashly and kill Mercutio. Due to this, Romeo becomes angered and has many mixed emotions about his friends death and therefore he engages Tybalt in battle and kills him. If Romeo and Juliet had used their words and told Tybalt the truth, that they are married and that they are now family, Tybalt could have used his brain and not killed Mercutio… Or he would have wounded Romeo with words instead of a sword.
