Starbuck’s Society

Starbucks has endeared itself to the society through its commitment to corporate social responsibility leading to a tremendous impact on the society. It builds very effective and sustainable relationships with partners and the society, something that has led to a general improvement of the professionalism of its doing business. Starbucks treats the society around with a lot of respect and believes that the society needs to be stable in order to make it easy for the firm to do business, fully aware of the prevailing external influences, whether, social, political, environmental, technological or legal. The contribution of the firm to the well being of the local community is quite immense and cannot be underestimated.

The firm’s desire to build successfully unique relationships with the society and stakeholders has always been part of its goal and mandate and its commitment to helping the society find strategies to solve bedeviling problem, a fact that cannot escape mentioning. The firm has been on the forefront in taking part in activities and endeavors in areas such as environmental stewardship, community involvement and ethical sourcing. These are issues that lie at the very hearts of the members of the society, making the firm a very successful and reputable in the eyes of many of its potential and real customers.

With these in mind, Starbucks is a good brand name which has stood the test of time and acted ethically, professionally and responsibly. This explains why it is a brand that should be sustainably be sold to FOE. In the current times, the society is facing serious problems of negligent and irresponsible firms that do not mind the impacts of their actions on the general public. The society is grappling with challenges of insensitive firms and organizations whose actions are mindless of the adversities they cause the surrounding environment, damaging the biodiversity and contributing to the global warming, which remains one of the most serious problems today. Starbucks has remained steadfast in its environmental and social stewardship endeavors, enhancing the general wellbeing of the society around.

One of the greatest achievements that the firm has made is its commitment to being part of different foundations that assist the society in different missions and approaches. The firm currently is a member of more than thirty different foundations. Key among the foundations, which the firm has subscribed to, include the International Youth Foundation, Save the Children, American Red Cross and Fair Trade among many others. The fact that this firm has committed to being a member of these foundations demonstrate its sincere commitment to being part of the solution to the many social problems facing the American society and even the global one in terms of the provision of the much needed social services. These services have made the firm quite distinct from its competitors and it remains a market leader in its area of operations.
