Position: Office receptionist

a) Job-Knowledge:

"How would you handle calls typically and what has been your average call closure time?"

b) Work-Requirement:

"What motivates you to work as a receptionist despite low salary?"

c) Job-sample/simulation question:

"Assume that I'm a customer, I called you to inform that the house keeping staff is not responding and there is an emergency in my room. I'm really going furious about it. How would you handle this?"

d) Situational question:

"If a customer is persistent about AC rooms during winter and you do not have AC rooms available. What would you do?"

Position: High school custodian

a) Job-Knowledge:

"Which school did you work prior to this and what were your responsibilities?"

b) Work-Requirement:

"Why being a High-school custodian and why our school?"

c) Job-sample/simulation question:

"Assuming that I'm a parent of a student in your school. I have come to meet you and you realize that there are frequent complaints against my child for misbehavior. How would you convey this message to me?"

d) Situational question:

"It's around 12 in the night. A Student has been struck with an asthmatic attack. How would you handle the situation?"

Position: Super market check-out clerk

"What kinds of grocery stores have you previously worked in and do you have any customer facing job experience?"

b) Work-Requirement:

"Is there anything that prevents you from working in night shifts and taking up tasks like unload products from trucks and prepare them for stocking during night hours?"

c) Job-sample/simulation question:

"Imagine a customer purchased the following items. How do pack the them together so that nothing is crushed, squished or damaged during transit.

A loaf of bread, a can of vegetables, a bunch of oranges, milk, diet coke and eggs."

d) Situational question:

"If a customer is impatient about long lines and yells at you how do you handle the situation?"
