In the first chapter of Discover Computers, it talked about computers basically informing the community about computers and how they operate as well as their features. It talks about the different types of computers and the software programs, etc. With the way that technology is today, the best way that people can cope with technology would want to be known. In chapter two, it talks more about computers and there functions, programs and connections to the internet and its essentials. An interesting question that could be made up and asked from this chapter would be if computers could think. Skipping up to chapter nine, it talks about the way that people can communicate and also the networks and systems.

In an article called How Can People Cope Best with Technology Overload, it talks about how people, who are really overloaded with technology, can't be without a cellphone or the internet for a short period of time. Technology Overloads has gotten so serious, that experts consider it a health problem. Just like any other mental issues, this one can too be treated. This overload can affect many people to the point where they don't spend as much time with their families and even break up marriages and good relationships. There was also a video by the Knight News Channel that talked about how overwhelmed technology is as of today. This video contains different people that have technology tips. It starts off with Lief Hansen from SoulTech workshops talking about how they ask people questions such as:

* What are the top struggles people have with technology?

* How can technology serve goals that people are looking for and there values? How are they getting in the way?

* How can you set aside some time to take a break from technology

However, Dom Sagolla the Founder of DollarApp believes that the curiosity is the key for people to keep coming back to the technology. This curiosity starts small especially when people find something new, then they invite there friends to sites such as Twitter or Facebook. If they end up inviting the wrong person, they may get annoyed by their presence and back off of it only leaving them to get curious again in time. Annalee Newitz editor of io9, states her opinion to the matter saying that for her, it is hard not be on technology because her job resolves around it. She runs a blog so she has to write and be online all day. She can't really decide on whether or not the technology is good for her or bad because the internet is based on her job. A good outcome of the situation is that she is not using the internet because she is overloaded to it, but because she has to do her job and make her money. Dr. Jim Taylor, A Tech Shrink Blogger believes that there is a way that people can detach from technology using technology. There is this system called Freedom from Mac which will cut off all people internet connections for how long that they want. The Freedom from Mac can do this with wireless internet and even wired.
