Keys to Success

Relatively low price and equivalent performance

Improvement in the technology for the electric motorcycle parts like battery efficiency, power, speed, and torque etc. makes it stand beside the gas motorcycle. Also, the industry structure of electric vehicles (EV) does not involve the manufacturing of all the parts. It just needs assembling of various parts. Thus, maintaining an efficient supply chain helps in lowering the costs.

Government policies and standards

The Government of India by 2030 wants to make the country a 100% electric vehicle nation so as to reduce the carbon emission. Also, adoption of BS-VI norms by 2020 will impose the problems on the existing gas operated vehicles. Therefore, the demand for electric vehicles will increase.

External factors

Various other factors like respiratory problems arising due to air pollution in the urbanized areas is creating an aversion of the people from the gasoline vehicles and eventually turning towards electric vehicles.
