Body Paragraph # 1Global warming is defined as the rising average temperature of Earth's atmosphere and oceans since the late 19th century and its projected continuation. At beginning of the 20th century, Earth's average surface temperature has increased by about 0.8 oC (1.4 oF), with about two thirds of the increase occurring since 1980. The basic notion we had about global warming is that temperature rises on earth's surface, and irregular alterations of the climate occurs. Carbon dioxide could also trap more heat in the atmosphere, leading to a gradual warming of the earth's atmosphere. (Weir, 2002)

Thesis: Society habits are harming the earth, by saving plastics and paper, stop coal burning, and stop being reliant on oil, which can affect the ozone layer. Plastic is not the only item that can release harmful gas in the atmosphere especially if it is charred in a burner. Carbon dioxide can damage the ozone layer. The ozone layer is a layer in Earth's atmosphere which has relatively high absorptions of ozone. The ozone layer absorbs 97-99% of the sun's ultraviolet light, which can possibly destroy the living things on Earth. It is mainly located in the lower portion of the stratosphere from approximately 20 to 30 kilometers (12 to 19 mi) above Earth, though the thickness varies seasonally and geographically. The ozone layer was discovered in 1913 by the French physicists Charles Fabry and Henri Buisson". (John H, 1998). Society thinks that it doesn't really matter, because the problem exists, we need to stop thinking that it is a small matter instead, we need to change and everybody needs to be educated humanity can still slow down the rising of temperature on the planet, if people become educated and learn how to go green we might have a winning chance in saving the global warming.

Body Paragraph # 2 Society needs to realize the reason that global warming has impacted the earth in a negative way. There are several thing actions humans do to cause global warming.

Topic Sentence: The first thing that society does that causes global warming is electrical pollution. Electricity is known to cause pollution in a lot of ways.

Supporting Evidence: Humans burn Fossil fuels to create electricity, and other things. Fossil fuels have dangerous ingredients there are dead plants and animals. Samples of fossil fuels are oil and petroleum. There are many pollutants, chemicals that can pollute the air; water and soil are sent into the air when fossil fuels are burned. Some of these chemicals are called greenhouse gasses. Humans use these foundations of energy much more than the sources that give off less pollution. Petroleum, are one of the bases of energy, it is used a lot. "Petroleum is used for transportation, creating electricity, and making many other things. Studies have shown that a human gives off a lot of pollution, it is used for only 38% of the United States'
