Medicated communication has really brought communication to a whole new level. Once before everything was done face to face or even done by standard mail, but now everything is just a mouse click away." Thirty years ago, people came to work in the morning, checked their telephone answering machine to retrieve voice mail messages, and read the letters, memos, and the notes stacked in the wooden on their desks".(K.Sole 2011)

"Mediated communication has dramatically changed the culture. It allows people to communication over distance and over a time span that is not possible in face to face communication; this has had a dramatic impact on cultures around the world."(K.Sole, 2011) Now that phones have become so smart, you can attend a meeting without even being there in person via video chat. Emails, instant messaging and now even social media site like Twitter & Facebook have really taken interpersonal communication to a whole new generation. But with all the good of mediated communication advancements there are a few bad sides about it. With the improvements many people now don't do that much written forms of writing anymore. Less paper is being used and less time communicating is also being done. Now communication is so much faster than before people don't write letter and send them in the mail anymore, everything is done electronically. Technology has really changed the way people in the 21st century interact.
