Strategic Recommendations

The objective of the presentation is to communicate the strategic recommendations and the rationale for these recommendations to the organization's management in a succinct and convincing manner. All team members are required to present. You may use any media you choose, but it obviously needs to be compatible with the classroom setting and technology.

Criteria for evaluation include completeness and accuracy of analyses, reasonableness and feasibility of recommendations, and professional presentation of material.

Do not repeat descriptive or historical material from the case that should be common knowledge of the firm's management, but focus on the analysis of the situation. Teams not presenting on a particular day will serve as Board of Directors and will submit their evaluations of each presenting team. These evaluations will be taken into account when issuing the presentation grade.

There will be two teams presenting in a single period. A maximum of 25 minutes will be assigned for each team's presentation, with five minutes maximum allotted between teams presenting. We will begin precisely at the starting time for the class, therefore, the first team presenting should arrive at least five minutes before class to set up and be ready to start on time. The class members who are not presenting that day MUST be on time so as to not interrupt the ongoing presentations. I will stop the team presentations after 25 minutes regardless of whether the team has completed their presentation or not.
