The Human Side of Management -Article Summary

According to Teal any problem in a company is a cause of poor management. Managers are the ones who are responsible for every missed opportunity and companies' success. As management has become one of the most known jobs, it is not as easy as it looks .When employees are unsatisfied management or manager is blamed. The question is "Are we expecting too much from the managers?" every company wants a manger who is skillful in every aspect as strategy, negotiations, writing, cost control, resource allocation, technical and show their leadership qualities, at the same time we want them as friends and mentor .It is very rare to find managers with the combination of all these set of skills; Teal believes this to be inhuman requirements for a person to have these kind of skills.
