When I think back about all the building that I know to write about. I feel that my mind is

fixed on only one building. Many consider this house a masterpiece and way ahead of its time.

That building is Frank Lloyd Wright's Kaufmann house (Falling Water ).This magnificent

summer house is located on Bear Run in Pennsylvania. It was designed in 1935 for the

Kaufmann family. This house not only shows the famous style of Frank Lloyd Wright but also

shows a unique approach to architecture. The integration of the building with the nature around it

just outstanding. The material and the views are something unique and special.

Imagine a house where water moves beneath you, and you feel that the light is in the

palm of your hand. The natural views are all around the building, and the sounds of nature that

give you the feeling that you are living in a natural habitat. This is the only building I can think

of for an amazing summer house where your all five senses are satisfied and fulfilled and far

away from all problems. If I want to think of the houses in heaven this is for sure my closes

example.

The integration between nature and man made building is on its finest forms on this

Frank Lloyd Wright masterpiece. His abilities to manipulate the design and the nature around the

site on every season of the year is a huge prove that Mr.Frank, succeeded on merging his

building with that natural habitat, without any distraction. As matter of fact he managed to add

beauty on that part of these lands.

I believe that the perfection of any building is the result of the balance between beauty

and it's functionality. The best architect is the one who can find this perfect balance and

harmony. That is what Frank Lloyd Wright was able to do.These harmonies designs came

from the materials of these buildings to the beauty of it's natural habitat. To use the

material around you is a solution to many problem today. That one of the reason I really

think this building is ahead of its time
